Ever wondered about Chat Etiquette and what it means!
Well Chat Etiquette is what us online Bingo Players use while playing games and talking to our fellow Bingo Buddies in chat. Below I have listed what some of the abbreviations mean! Bingo Lingo Here we go -
WTG = Way To Go
WD = Well Done
GL = Good Luck
BRB = Be Right Back
TY = Thank You
LOL = Laugh Out Loud
ROFL = Roll on The floor Laughing
BBL = Be Back Later
TYVM = Thank You Very Much
TTYL = Talk To You Later
YW = Your Welcome
GLNG = Good Luck next game
FH = Full House
SS = So Sorry
OMG = Oh My God
B4N = Bye For Now
CU8L = See You Later
FYI = For Your Info
B4 = Before
When I was a newbie I used to think what are they talking about, it took me a while to work out what the abbreviations meant, LOL. The most commonly used ones are WTG, this is what we say when some wins on Bingo, GL when someone is waiting for only a few or one number, TY when you have a win and LOL when something that is said in chat that you find funny, BRB when you are going away from your computer for a few minutes, this lets the CM and the players know you are not at your screen at the moment, so if somebody talks to you and you do not answer you are not being rude. You can also put 3TG, 2TG or 1TG in chat, this let’s the other players know your are only waiting for either a few or one number to go to win Bingo, your Bingo Buddies normally respond by saying GL to you, so it is also a great way to get chatting to your fellow Bingo players.
It is good to know what the abbreviations in chat means, It helps you to understand what is being said. Abbreviations are used because it would take to long to type in the full meaning of the word and it is much more fun and easy to type. They are a great way of talking to your Bingo Buddies and the CM’s(Chat Moderator) in chat. GL to you all when you play.
