Here at Bingoport we run a fantastic exclusive promotion for our players in conjunction with Ladbrokes Bingo in January. We were very excited here to bring this great promotion to you and it gave our players the chance of winning exclusive VIP tickets to see sit in the audience and watch a taping of the “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” TV show and also the chance to meet the man himself Chris Tarrant in the Free bar after the show! Every day between the 6th and 20th of January we held some great bingo tournaments in our Free bingo rooms where you could win qualifiers into our grand final tournament which was held on January the 21st. The main event began at 8pm in a private bingo room and it run for four hours and the winner of each one hour tournament won these fantastic VIP tickets. Owen1 was one such winner, but unfortunately she was unable to attend so she very kindly gave her tickets to one of our other players “ScaryMary” who was I’m sure over to moon and what a fantastic gesture from Owen1!
This is ScaryMary’s recount of events on her amazing trip to see the “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” TV Show -
“What can i say it was great when we arrived we were met by a really nice man from Ladbrokes called Charlie we were taken into the bar and told to have a drink and when it was time we would be escorted to the seats. After chatting to Charlie for about half an hour we were taken on set it is not how you would imagine I thought it would be much bigger and there are only audience on 2 sides not all round as it looks on TV. The warm up man was very funny but I did get slightly embarrassed when being shown to our seat because as we were VIP guests we were last into the studio before Chris Tarrant and the warm up man felt he needed to point this out to everyone by saying “oh here they come the royal family look last to arrive” to which everyone was staring at us lol. So then MR Tarrant comes on and he says hello to us all and says be as loud with the clapping etc, but no coughing lol so of course it all starts the music the light and we all clap and it gets underway the first contestant to be chosen is a woman she gets up to £20.000 with 2 lifelines left and she got the question wrong arrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh poor thing so she left with £1000. So its back on the button and this time its a man he gets to £5000 and the show ends. So like all of you I will need to watch TV to see what happens. It was a great evening and I would like to say special thanks to “Owen1” who allowed me to use her place, to Phil who passed messages between us lol. To “Bingoport” and “Kaz” for the great opportunity and to Ladbrokes for the great promo. Now I sound like I’m receiving an Oscar I will stop but once again a big THANKS!!!!!!!!!
