Another great 88 Two Fat Ladies story By MULBERRY40. Congratulations, you have won 1000 port points!
The story of the two fat ladies comes from the year 1765 there was a family of 19, in a house and they were thinking of ways to amuse them selves and a man called Charles Blutoon thought of bingo and wrote the rules down I think it looked something like this:
Rules for bingo
Every person Playing gets a ticket each.
One person calls out numbers from 1 to 90
When the numbers the caller calls out match the numbers on the persons ticket they shall mark them off.
The first person to mark of all five on one line shouts “LINE!”.
The first person to get all 15 numbers on the same ticket shouts “ Full House!”.

The full family played and thought it was a bit boring so they thought how they could improve Charles’ idea until eventually his son William Blutoon came up with an idea. “If we had a little funny saying for each number it would make it more fun.
So that night he came up with all of the saying for all the numbers except from 88 he thought about it all night until he eventually got some sleep he had a dream he went to the beach and seen two chubby ladies coming towards him. Then he woke up “ that’s it, That’s it !!!” he shouted. He went to his note book and pen and wrote down next to the number 88 two fat ladies and from then on the saying for 88 has been two fat ladies 88.
So that’s the story of how 88 got its saying two fat ladies 88!!
