Foxy Bingo Cruise Review - March 2008 - By Nuttykaz!
17 March 2008

Here we are again, the famous foxy cruise, all waiting to check in and board the Pride of Hull and get under way for another fabulous trip to Amstrerdam.
Foxy arrives and we all join the queue and are on our way. More high jinks on the high seas…..Aye aye me hearties, Amsterdam, here we come!
We gathered on board the boat in the Irish Bar where foxy had a meet and greet, and issued us all with free drinks (just the ticket to get us underway considering the storm warnings we were told to expect)
By 7.30pm it was time to make sure we had a good seat for the evenings entertainment and of course the bingo. A good night was had by all, Granygrub shouted for a line and Sazzle had a share and a full house win (Go Porters)
The ships entertainment went on into the night and when it stopped we always had Chattycathy to keep us all amused LOL. Excessive amounts of alchohol made sure the rocking boat didnt stop the fun and laughter. The night drew to an end and we all headed off to our rooms, well Granys room for a Pot Noodle Party (we may tell you what happened next, if you ask us LOL)
Tuesday morning already………and the captain woke us up with a booming voice “Good morning it is 6am the restuarant is now open for breakfast, the coach leaves for Amsterdam at 8am sharp” arghhhhhhhhhhhh LOL
Daydreamer decided the bus trip was a great time to catch up on some of that lost sleep from the night before, but due to her snoring the rest of the coach remained awake! We got to Amsterdam and had the day to wander round at our leisure, dodging bikes, trams and other local leisure activities, however we did sample some gorgeous chinese cuisine floating along the river Amsel.
Time to head back to the coach for another night of frivolity and bingo. Another win for the Porters when roguetaz won a bottle of Moet and again the alcohol and entertainment took away the force 10 storms blowing us about the sea. And the laughter was heard well into the early hours.
We awoke on Wednesday morning to be told the weather meant we had to brave the boat a while longer as we couldnt dock so a free quiz was arranged and a free hot lunch for the whole boat. At 2pm we were allowed off the boat and once again hit dry land…….yipee another great cruise and lots of still smiling faces said their goodbyes but have all vowed to make it back for the next one.
