UK Online Bingo Players Increase by 80% in 6 Months Despite Recession Fears

Online Bingo authority BingoPort.co.uk released staggering figures today pointing to a strengthening UK Online Bingo Industry with the number of active online bingo players increasing by 80% during the 6-month period 01 May 2008 to 31 October 2008. The figure comes at a time when the UK Online Bingo Industry gears up to celebrate the industry’s best with the BingoPort.co.uk Players Choice Awards to be held in London during January.

Whilst the significant increase is expected to surprise many in the industry in light of the current UK economic climate, for Scott Logan, Director of BingoPort.co.uk, the data fits in line with their predictions. “We have been tracking the UK Online Bingo Industry for over eighteen months now and we are starting to see some fascinating and positive trends coming through. We are of course watching the UK and global financial crisis closely but our data suggests active online bingo player numbers should continue to rise in the foreseeable future”.

The 80% figure relates to the average number of online bingo players who are active at any one time, as Logan explains. “BingoPort.co.uk collects a huge amount of information in the UK Online Bingo Industry. Highlights of BingoPort.co.uk’s trend analysis are scheduled to be released at the 2009 BingoPort.co.uk Players Choice Awards to be held in London on the 30th January 2009.

The Players Choice Awards draws upon both the data collected by BingoPort.co.uk over the previous 12 months and survey information collected from BingoPort’s membership base of online bingo players. It is this detailed collection of information that will provide the industry with the most accurate measure of who is the best in the UK Online Bingo Industry.

this is the reccession yes….thats why we are all here to win ermm money?lol also im a busy mummy of four and land bingo doesent allow kids in the building so…..i play at home its much better and you can swear if you want to and…….nobody would hear it pmsl plus land bingo dont have free bingo everynight so….there! lol
