FatSpanner Launches Dab For Life Bingo To Support Breast Cancer Campaign
November 30th, 2009
FatSpanner has until now been known for its SWP and other electronic game offerings. However, now their name will be associated with a far nobler cause. FatSpanner has recently come out with a brand new bingo offering called ‘Dab for Life’. What sets apart this bingo offering is that it has been launched in an

effort to support the UK charity ‘Breast Cancer Campaign’. 5% of the adjusted revenue from the ‘Dab for Life’ bingo offering will be donated to the UK charity ‘Breast Cancer Campaign’ in a major corporate social responsibility initiative.
FatSpanner is one among several bingo companies to have pronounced their support for charitable causes. William Hill bingo has pledged its support and donated significant sums of money to various breast cancer support organizations and Costa Bingo is also currently running a promotion that is looking to raise funds for the BBC Children in Need Charity.
The Dab for Life bingo game has been loosely modeled on the company’s highly popular SWP offering, True Skill. The latest launch can be viewed as a rehashed, standalone version of its predecessor. The company has gone one step further and assured the Breast Cancer Campaign that irrespective of the game doing well or otherwise, it will still contribute a minimum sum of £10,000 over the next couple of years. The donation to the charity will also be made completely from the company’s share of revenue. FatSpanner had recently displayed a trial version of the product at the recently concluded Preview show which was held in London.
FatSpanner has announced that it will be sending out test machines to several bingo operators by early December. The Dab for Life product has performed exceedingly well during the company’s own initial testing phase. FatSpanner hopes to replicate the in-house testing results when the machines are dispatched to the bingo operators. If the test machines function as per design and without any major glitches, the Dab for Life bingo game could be made commercially available in the online bingo market as early as next year.
The company has noted that a lot of support work had to be undertaken in terms of trademarks and related patent applications. Working out a relationship with the Breast Cancer Campaign organization was also a procedure that involved significant effort and initiative.
Alison Parker, Corporate Partnerships Executive at Breast Cancer Campaign concluded, “The money raised through the games played will help to fund innovative research into beating breast cancer; making a genuine difference to the lives of the one in nine women diagnosed each year.”
