i don't see why they just can't leave things alone, i like the traditional calls and have never known anyone be offended by them.

I remember reading this in the newspapers too, I think it is silly and just another case of political correctness gone mad, no offence is meant by the slang terms Im sure xxx

a stupid rule banning the two fat ladies, i suppose the numbers look like fat snowmen more than ladies you you could call that but less catchy lol

I'm very frustrated by this, we live in a society where we can show violence to children through TV yet heaven forbids we offend anyone by saying the word 'fat'. People need to grow thicker skins.

Oh god is the world going mad! there is nothing wrong with the traditional sayings as long as they are not used in an offensive manner

That is so silly, if someone is fat they are fat, if someone is thin they are thin, its only derogotary depending on how you say it

I think theres nothing wrong with the bingo terms used, anyone who takes offence should perhaps not go to bingo, two fat ladies isn't aimed at anyone so can't see why anyone would take offence

I guess this post didnt turn out the way it was meant. If it was for a discussion as to whether we should be allowed to have traditional bingo calls like two fat ladies etc – well im all for it. The world has become too politically correct in many ways – human nature to take things too far – but hands off our bingo. Im one fat lady and have never felt abused by a bingo caller shouting out two fat ladies lol – lets keep the traditions going xxx
