When you sign up with online bingo sites that offer no deposit bonuses, you will usually still have to give your credit card details. This is pretty much standard around the internet. The main reason for this is that credit card details are a way of bingo sites confirming your age. You must be over 18 to gamble so this is an important safeguard for both you and the bingo sites. Generally speaking you will only get your no deposit bonus once you’ve signed up fully, with all you personal information and your credit card details.

As you probably know by now, one such free bingo website is BingoPort.co.uk which allows you to play for free, no deposit required. BingoPort also publishes a list of other bingo websites where you can play bingo online without a deposit.

BingoPort really is too good to be true. Not only does it offer passionate Bingo players the opportunity to play free bingo and slot machine games 24/7 – it also provides bingo enthusiasts with the possibility of winning incredible prizes. And if all that’s not enough … you don’t have to spend a penny!

It’s no surprise that BingoPort continues to grow in popularity. With so many fantastic, free opportunities, online bingo has never been so good!

How BingoPort Works

You’re probably wondering how BingoPort works. If there’s no money involved on your part, it’s only natural to wonder how we can offer free bingo and prizes. This is the easy part: BingoPort use credits, known as Port Points.

This is how it works:

Port Points are used to purchase bingo cards and slot spins

They can also be used to play a free game called Wicked Wheel

Wicked Wheel can be played up to 5 times per day

Once you’ve reached 5000 points (the minimum level) you can redeem your points in exchange for a free £5.00 credit

You can use your £5.00 credits at other bingo sites, such as Cheeky Bingo or Foxy Bingo

At the Wicked Wheel 10,000 level, you can trade your points for a free £5.00 Amazon voucher

There is no limit on how many prizes you’re allowed to claim. You’re only limited by how much you play. Remember: the more points you accumulate via competitions, free bingo and slot games – the more exciting prizes you can claim.

Why Play On BingoPort?

The answer is simple: BingoPort provides you with all the tools you’ll need in order to fully experience online bingo at its best. Playing free bingo on BingoPort is a fantastic way to start winning points, in order for you to claim some great prizes. What’s more, we provide you with four ultra-modern bingo rooms to choose from:

Two in the 90 ball genre

Two in the 75 ball variety

Before you choose which room to enter, you can view different aspects of the game play:

You can view the cost of each ticket. This is placed in the ‘star’ icon

The amount of points that are available

The on-duty CM

The length of time until the next game

Once you click on a bingo room of your choosing, the game will open, within the same window.

For ease of use, all of our bingo rooms are designed simply yet stylishly. The left hand side of each room is dedicated to a busy, friendly chat room. The right side contains full details of the forthcoming bingo game. Players can either hand select bingo tickets of their choice, or select them in multiples of 6. The maximum amount of tickets you can select is 24.

You are offered the option to request an alternative set of cards, if you’re not happy with the numbers presented on your screen. What’s more, besides the opportunity to earn points when you win a game, you can also participate in a number of chat games and tournaments – which credit thousands of free Port Points. Tip: prize pots are always fruitful!

BingoPort Slot Machines

Perhaps you prefer the excitement that comes with spinning the reels of slot machines? If so, you’ll be more than impressed by the three slot games at BingoPort. With multiple pay lines, great pay-outs and amazing, realistic graphics, our slot games are yet another superb way to earn great quantities of Port Points!

Bingo Broadway: a colourful, 9 line bingo themed slot game that comes with its own free spin bonus.

Max from just 9 points per spin and spin all

Or spin the first 3 or 4 letters of B-I-N-G-O, to win up to 15 free spins

Win up to 1000x your stake by spinning 5 funky dabber icons!

Cinders Palace: a slot game based upon the classic story of Cinderella:

Dazzling icons

Bonus game, Seventh Heaven – no bonus round, instead it comprises a progressive points jackpot!

BingoPort Offer You Even More

As if offering our members all of the above amazing opportunities isn’t enough, BingoPort offer you more! We also run regular free online competitions that allow our members the chance to win even more great prizes. This month’s competition is a photo contest, aptly titled ‘Bingo Is Bringing Sexy Back’.

The competition invites members to get creative with photographs and create comical, mock-sexy pictures – and the prize is a fabulous £100 spa package! BingoPort are even encouraging our male bingo players break out their mankinis!

There are at least two competitions running, each month, with a generous and exciting prize up for grabs. So join up – and join in!

BingoPort – The Community

BingoPort is more than just an online bingo site – it’s also home to a great bingo community. As an example, our bingo forum is a fantastic place to meet fellow bingo and online gaming enthusiasts. You can share your stories, opinions and have conversations about both bingo and non-bingo related topics.

There are plenty of different sub-forums, enabling you to choose what you want to talk about, discuss or share. A selection of them:

Winners Are Grinners – invites players to celebrate and share the news about their latest win/s

Free For All – the place to talk about anything and everything

General Bingo Chat – a place to discuss all things bingo related

In all, the forum is a great environment for meeting friends and keeping up to date with the latest news and promotions – both at BingoPort and other online bingo sites.

On occasion, the BingoPort Announcements form will be updated by a BingoPort staff member, in order to ask for feedback and opinions of our members. As an example, we recently announced that a video competition would be launched in March, but – before releasing it – we asked our members for their opinions.

We wanted to understand how they would feel about creating videos and uploading them, as a means of ensuring that the competition would be welcomed and enjoyed by the BingoPort Community.

Currently, we are asking our members to rant and rave about the most annoying adverts on UK TV. In conjunction, we’re running a survey that members can participate in, in order that they can discuss the issue with other members. At BingoPort – we like to know what our members are thinking, in order to continually improve our site!

BingoPort isn’t just a site that offers free bingo and prizes, it’s also a community. We value our members, their time and their input. When you become a member, you can be assured that you’re joining a community that not only provides a fun, friendly and rewarding experience – you’ll also be a member of a vibrant and unique online bingo site!

Follow up to our article “Ban on Two Fat Ladies” here.

A recent survey revealed that 99% percent of bingo players were in favour of traditional bingo calls and wanted “Two Fat Ladies,” the bingo call for the number 88, and “Legs Eleven,” the shout-out for the number 11, to stay. About 4000 players took up the online survey, expressing their support for traditional bingo calls, stating that the calls should be allowed to remain even if they were perceived as politically incorrect by some.

John Sayers, on whom the ban was imposed by the Sudbury Council, appears to be standing behind the Council and the ban, although he does not personally approve of the idea of politically correct bingo. Sayers claimed that the decision was based on good legal advice and that Two Fat Ladies had no place in modern bingo, as it could cause offense.

As of now, no other bingo halls appear to be replicating the Sudbury Council’s ban in favour of modern PC bingo, and it is just possible that this debate over the political correctness of bingo calls will leave traditional bingo caller lingo untouched. Most of the bingo halls in the UK are still following traditional bingo calls and are using “Two Fat Ladies” and “Legs Eleven” much to the delight of the bingo players there.

One cannot help but wonder what alternatives modern bingo will bring to numbers like 88 and 11. Will it be the more boring “two fat peanuts” for 88 or “two matchsticks” or “Olive Oyl” for 11? Or will “Olive Oyl” end up offending the slim bingo players in the audience named Olive? Let’s consider a few other (non-laughable and untraditional) possibilities.

The number 88 is the shorthand code for signing “hugs and kisses” in ham radio as it looks like two lips kissing. Surprisingly, 88 is also the Neo-Nazi code for “Hail Hitler”, a catch phrase that will never make the grade, thankfully. In poker, a pair of pocket 8s is referred to as Snowmen, so perhaps a “Mr. and Mrs. Jack Frost” or “Two Snowmen” for a modern bingo call of 88?

Too or Two Politically Correct Bumble Bees for instance may be a little long for a caller to shout out, but its nothing if not PC.

Legs Eleven may not be replaced by “playing cricket” or “a blackjack ace” and although “one more and you’re a wicket” does sound just a bit better; there is just something to be said about legs!

Two fat ladies and legs eleven are so popular among bingo players that a bingo caller announcing anything else is likely to be booed off the platform, unless he can come up with the impossible – an alternative good enough to replace them.
Do you know some funny or weird calls and catch phrases for the numbers 88 and 11? Post your response below or join the discussion here.
