Bingo has bee around since the 15th century and has been a popular game played around the world, there are many variations on this ever popular game and we are going to explain the variations and the differences between ninety ball bingo and seventy five ball bingo.

Ninety ball bingo is traditionally played in European clubs and is played using a ticket with numbers across three rows and nine columns each row has five numbers and four blank spaces. Ninety ball bingo is traditionally played with strips of tickets and these usually consist of six tickets per strip. One strip six tickets would have all the numbers from one to ninety so if you are playing a whole strip each time a number is generated you will be crossing one off.

You buy as many tickets as required but some clubs will have there own limits. Ninety ball bingo is played with three patterns one line two lines and full house. Numbers are called and the first player to complete a line wins the first prize then game play commences for two lines so on.

Seventy five ball bingo is traditionally played in America but has been utilized into European clubs now, this is played using a square ticket which has five rows and five columns usually the columns represents the word bingo across the top, these type of tickets give you seventy five squares and all squares will have a number, no blank spaces unlike ninety ball bingo.

The pattern played on this type of ticket is determined at the start of the game but could be a full house pattern known as coverall or a letter pattern or number pattern there are many variations. Game is played in the same manner and numbers are generated by a random number generator and the player marks there ticket accordingly. Once the pattern has been completed bingo is called and prizes awarded.
