What happened to Bingocams?
Bingocams closed down at the end of March 2023 after 12 years of operation. The decision was made by Dazzletag Entertainment, who stated it had become increasingly difficult to provide the unique bingo experience they had originally envisioned. One of the reasons cited was the age of the online bingo system, making it hard to enhance the player experience and keep up with more cutting edge, interactive live bingo experiences offered by competitors. Perhaps the excitement of bingo camming had worn off and in the end, players wanted a simpler experience where the game was enhanced and not the social aspect of live video play. We were sad to see them close as they put it "with a heavy heart".
