As a quick history lesson, LC International Limited began as a collaboration between Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG and GVC Holdings plc, previously known as Gaming VC Holdings SA. They combined their operations to form a global gaming entity under the name bwin.party Digital Entertainment plc. In 2015, this entity underwent a rebranding and emerged as Entain PLC which is now quoted on the UK Stock Market.

Who are LC International Limited?
LC International is a subsidiary of the prominent gambling company Entain, formerly known as GVC Holdings. As their name suggests they were formed from the Ladbrokes and Coral merged in 2004 and effectively became the licensed entity covering these two main brands.
LC International Ltd Background: The company was established in 2004 but has had number of acquisition and mergers to become the Entain group we know today.
Ladbrokes was formed in 1880 as a bookmaker. In 2005 they were one of the first sites to launch online, partnering with Playtec
Coral was formed as a high street bookmaker in 1926 with focus on sports betting, in 1997 they acquired Gala Bingo from Bass Brewery and rebranded Gala Coral Group
In 2016 all 3 businesses merged in 2016 to become Ladbrokes Coral Group
In 2018 GVC Holdings plc acquired Ladbrokes Coral plc and rebranded Entain plc becoming one of the biggest gaming companies worldwide

Evolution of LC International Ltd : In 2021, MGM Resorts made a bid of $11 billion (around £8 billion), which the Entain board turned down, citing that it "significantly undervalues the company and its potential." Following this, the American casino giants withdrew their bid.
